You’re not alone. But what if managing money could be a act of faith, not fear?
The Bible gives us a key: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21). Our spending reveals what we value most.
How do we align our money with God’s values?
- Start with Prayer. Before looking at numbers, ask God: “What do you want me to do with what you’ve given me?” This shifts our heart from anxiety to trust.
- Seek First the Kingdom. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33). Make His priorities yours. Budget for generosity, family, and peace first—not last.
- Know Your ‘Why’. Write down your goal: “To give more,” “To break debt’s stress,” “To model stewardship for my kids.” This ‘why’ will keep you focused.
A Short Prayer:
Lord, give me wisdom to manage what you’ve entrusted to me. Align my spending with your purposes. I trust you to provide. Amen.
